Ghanaian MP honours promise of buying a private jet

The outspoken businessman and Member of parliament for Assin North Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has honored his promise of buying himself a private jet at age 55.

Kennedy Agyapong, who celebrated his 55th birthday in June 2015 made this promise in 2012 on Delay’s Show when he was 52.

He was one of the first people in Ghana to use Rolls Royce.“I told Ghanaians I will get myself a jet at 55. Yes I got it. 

The manufacturer delayed with the customization. It was fully paid for before I turned 55. I don’t just talk. I deliver” Kennedy Agyapong told ondamic.com.“I had to fulfill this promise. People might have think I’m broke. 

I don’t get broke you know. See for yourself, that is it” he said as he points to his newly purchased private jet.

The ‘Honorable Talkative’ paid $23M for the Bombardier Global Express XRS which operates on Rolls-Royce engines.
